dear kazu,

the fact that we’ve been by each other’s side for the past two year melts my heart. i am beyond thankful to have someone who cares so much about me and listens to all my gibberish without judgement (i’m hoping!).

2017 new year’s eve still remains one of my favorite memories with you. thank you for staying up for me so that i wouldn’t be a loner! i’ll never forget about your music recommendations (spam), your favorite asmr, and the lovely but disgusting playlist you dedicated to me. last year’s summer was also very fun! thank you for sharing bits of your kcon experience (still disappointed that the live stream didn’t catch you on camera...maybe cuz you’re too tiny) and of course, your asia trip!!! i still remember how i looked up what flavor the kumamon kitkat was while you were shopping... JDDHH.

good luck with your classes and especially your upcoming grad school apps. (you better apply to my school. or at least one in cali...socal.) i know things sometimes get extremely stressful for you, but i hope you can take it easy! life‘s dumb and throws rocks at us, but no matter how big or small they are, i’m here with you to smash them.

happy 2nd anniversary, kazu! cheers to many more years with each other until i’m sixty or whenever i un-asian.

"Draw me a sheep!"

I jumped to my feet, completely thunderstruck. I blinked my eyes hard. I looked carefully all around me. And I saw a most extraordinary small person¹, who stood there examining me with great seriousness.

. . . By this time my patience was exhausted, because I was in a hurry to start taking my engine apart. So I tossed off this drawing.
